We make sure that the money raised by The Health Lottery flows back into local communities and makes a difference where it’s most needed. We fund projects that unite people to improve health, wellbeing and happiness.

Taking part in a lottery is great fun, with the bonus that a portion of the money raised goes into a fund that’s reserved for improving the health of the nation. We’re focusing on channelling money into the areas that need it most.

Ten fantastic grassroots projects each receive a £1,000 grant
The first Community Choice nomination round organised by The Health Lottery Foundation, pays out £10,000 to ten organisations across Britain.
A visit to Crisis in Tower Hamlets, London
A tour of the London Skylight Centre to learn more about the impact of the £75K grant we awarded last year. Thanks to players of The Health Lottery this money has been used to strengthen Crisis’ frontline services in London.
Visiting Beauty Banks in Croydon
Last week, Deborah Roil, our Director of Compliance, spent time at Beauty Banks’ Croydon warehouse, helping pack boxes of essential hygiene products to be sent to local charities and seeing first-hand the vital work Beauty Banks does.
